CLEAR Moto Policy - Alaska Special
Please pay close attention to these policies, as some are different specifically for the Alaska Special event.
Booking:
Please see the course calendar to book your training. You will receive course details and a waiver via email after scheduling your course(s).
Payment:
Choose to pay in-full or a 50% deposit at time of booking.
Any remaining balances must be paid four weeks prior to your scheduled training. An email reminder will be sent with any balance due and a payment link attached.
Cancellation:
Due to the long distance traveled, we appreciate your understanding for the following cancellation policies. Please notify us by email at info@clearmoto.com or by phone at 505.524.5696.
More than four weeks notice: You will receive a 100% refund of all amounts paid.
Less than four weeks notice: If only the deposit was paid, there will be no refund. You will receive a 50% refund if you paid-in-full.
Less than two weeks notice: There will be no refund of any amount. If space is available, you are welcome to rebook for another 2024 course date.
No Show, No Call: There will be no refund of any amount.
Weather:
Training will continue in poor weather. In the very rare case that weather is severe and dangerous enough that CLEAR Moto elects to cancel training, you will receive a full refund.
If training continues regardless of weather and you decide not to attend training, there will be no refund in such a case.
The training location and/or the curriculum order may change due to weather conditions. We appreciate your flexibility.
Rider Requirements:
Valid Motorcycle License/Endorsement
At or over the age of 18 years old
Wear a properly fitted DOT approved motorcycle helmet
Wear Eye protection (goggles, sunglasses, glasses, or closed helmet face-screen)
Wear Gloves
Wear Long pants
Wear Over-the-ankle boots
The gear you decide to wear is yours alone and is not CLEAR Moto’s responsibility. If you choose to not wear the above required items during training we will have to withhold training for your safety. For more details and our recommendations for gear for training please read our What to Have page.
Rider Expectations:
Riders are kind and respectful to all staff and fellow riders
Riders are willing to learn
Riders are responsible for their actions
Riders are responsible for checking in with their energy levels
Riders are responsible for taking additional breaks when they need
Rider is in control and responsible for how they operate their motorcycle
CLEAR Moto Expectations:
All staff will be respectful and kind to riders
We are here to support and encourage riders
We are responsible for our actions
The coach will take scheduled breaks during training
