Foundational ADV Skills Training & Trail Training
Spend the time and energy to get really good with the basics so you can excel with more advanced skills as you progress as an adventure rider.

Training starts at $649
Spend two full days learning and practicing our Foundational ADV Skills which are so important for learning more advanced skills and techniques.
If you don’t want your training to end, you can add a third day of Trail Training (when available). We’ll take you out to the trails and continue coaching. Teaching you how to study, tackle, and troubleshoot trail elements.
Our training is open to all people, and any make/model street legal off-road worthy motorcycle. CLEAR Moto is for adventure riders (we are not a dirt bike school).

Like learning a language, you have to know your ABC’s first. Our Foundational ADV Skills Training will give you the base to have more confidence, proficiency, and control while riding. From there, your skills can only grow up.
CLEAR Moto Five Foundational Skills
Vision
Balance
Clutch
Throttle
Braking
All the exercises taught will come from one or more of these five skills. You’ll learn (just to name a few):
Motorcycle Lifting Techniques
Proper Body Positioning
Stop & Go with control
Steering & Turning
Traction and Terrain Considerations and Techniques
Our Foundational ADV Skills Training is best suited for new riders and new-to adventure riders.

Get more with a third day of training out on the trail. Coaching continues, which means we’ll be stopping a lot. This is training before it is a ride.
You’ll learn and tackle trail elements such as (subject to change and availability):
Rocks - embedded and loose
Ruts - natural and from vehicles
Hills - ascending and descending
Turns - sweeping and tight
Trail Etiquette
Trail Communication
Troubleshooting
Trail Training is an optional Monday add-on. Please select it during registration. $350 for Trail Training.
Please bring a sack lunch and plenty of water. We’ll have lunch trail side.

Our coaching style is rooted in personal experience, understanding, and support. We never push harder than what you can handle. We will encourage you if we think it is appropriate. Keeping riders safe means everyone stays happier.
Please come ready to learn. That means triumphs, frustration, a little fear, excitement, and so on. We want you to be ready for it all. We’re here to provide guidance, knowledge, and to cheer you on.
Keep the learning going and add-on Trail Training for a third day of skills building and riding out on the trails.

Adventure Ready Training is best for the intermediate level rider. If you have been out on some trails and want to begin fine-tuning your overall control so you can go further with more confidence, Adventure Ready Training is for you. Check our Calendar for upcoming training.
