Mini Session FAQ

  • Mini Sessions are designed for riders that do have experience and are looking to increase their skills.

    They are not ideal for brand-new riders. We suggest at least a few months to a year of experience.

  • All riders must show proof of a valid motorcycle endorsement in order to participate in any CLEAR Moto training.

  • Yes, you will need to ride your own, or a borrowed motorcycle. CLEAR Moto does not provide rentals.

  • Mini Sessions will be held at Sandia BMW Motorcycles in Albuquerque, NM.

    Days and times vary. Please see the calendar of events for more information.

  • Payment is either paid in full or as a 50% deposit of the total costs at time of booking. If there is a balance, the remainder is due no later than the time of service.

    A payment link can be found on your appointment confirmation.

  • You can cancel for a full refund if done so with no less than two weeks notice.

    Receive a 50% refund (if paid in full) if you cancel with less than two weeks notice. If only 50% was paid at time of booking, receive no refund.

    If training is cancelled with less than a week’s notice, receive a credit of your total payments good toward future training. The credit is based on its monetary value only.

    “No shows/no calls” will not receive a refund or credit.

  • Sandia BMW Motorcycles will provide light snacks and drinks.

  • Yes. Breaks will naturally take place in-between exercises however we’ll also take a break every thirty minutes. This allows for rest, food and water, and potty breaks.

  • Each Mini Session has its own focal point on a skill or small set of skills. Please see the Mini Session page for a brief explanation of elements learned under each Mini Session topic.

  • All riders must wear a properly fitted DOT approved motorcycle helmet and eye protection while operating a motorcycle during training.

    We recommend riders wear long sleeves, long pants, sturdy over-the-ankle boots, and full-finger gloves.

  • Training will take place in most weather conditions. If the conditions make operating the motorcycle unsafe, training will be cancelled or rescheduled. For a more in-depth list of weather conditions that would cancel training please see the CLEAR Moto Policy page.

    If you choose not to join training due to weather that did not impact training, you will not receive a refund.

  • CLEAR Moto believes in respecting all people and that includes their pronouns.

    If you don’t want to state your pronoun, you do not have to. We respect that just as much.

  • It is certainly appreciated. If you feel that your coach did a wonderful job they would be grateful for any tip amount.

  • Each rider is required to agree, complete, and sign the CLEAR Moto waiver. You may also be required to agree and sign Sandia BMW Motorcycle’s and/or our insurance provider’s waivers as well.

  • All riders must wear a properly fitted DOT approved helmet anytime you are on a motorcycle and the engine is on.

    Riders must obey the instruction of the coach.

    CLEAR Moto respects all people and we expect you to do the same. Kidness is our rule. If you are unable to be nice, respectful, or considerate to your coach, fellow riders, or Sandia BMW Motorcycle staff, CLEAR Moto will ask you to leave.
