The difference between Novice and Intermediate is the intensity and pace.

  • The major difference is the pace and intensity. The key is to sharpen your fundamental skills at any level because those skills should never become easy because they can always be challenged.

Novice is best for riders that want to focus on fundamental skills at a slower pace. Noice is a great place to start if you’re primarily a street rider coming into adventure riding (even if you’re a skilled street rider).

Intermediate is best for riders that have a grasp on the fundamental skills and are ready to be challenged. The intermediate level is the broadest level spanning between novice to advanced.

Intermediate+ is for those that are ever closer to an advanced level and would really enjoy being challenged.

  • All riders must wear a properly fitted DOT approved motorcycle helmet and eye protection while operating a motorcycle during training.

We recommend riders wear long sleeves, long pants, sturdy over-the-ankle boots, and full-finger gloves.

If you have questions about gear please see our Blog for more info.

  • Training will take place in most weather conditions. If the conditions make operating the motorcycle unsafe, training will be cancelled or rescheduled. For a more in-depth list of weather conditions that would cancel training please see the CLEAR Moto Policy page.

If you choose not to join training due to weather, there is no refund. Check with us about rescheduling.

  • Yes. The MMM has full event and day pass options.

  • Even though this is a ladies only course, CLEAR Moto believes in respecting all people and that includes their pronouns.

If you don’t want to state your pronoun, you do not have to. We respect that just as much.

  • It is certainly appreciated. If you feel that your coach did a wonderful job they would be grateful for any tip.
