As a BMW Expert: Cassie would be delighted to come to your dealership to provide your customers and staff a memorable experience with the BMW brand and your dealership. Tapping into her extensive knowledge and understanding of the BMW Motorrad brand and its customers. Using her experiential marketing experience to provide an enjoyable event, ranging from Experience Presentations about traveling the US solo, to providing two-days of ADV Rider Training. Cassie comes with a tremendous amount of experience with the BMW Motorrad brand, and has had top-notch reputable mentors that helped her become the coach and rider she is today.
BMW Motorrad Experience: Cassie received training on all the models from 2016 - 2020 when she was a part of the BMW Motorrad demo truck team. The best knowledge she gained was from riding them all. While working at the BMW US Rider Academy, Cassie was able to take the models even further, riding them in more challenging conditions than that of a demo ride. Even though Cassie is no longer on the demo team or at the US Rider Academy, she is still connected to BMW Motorrad since her husband is a general manager for a BMW Motorrad dealership. All of this experience with the brand and riding the models has provided Cassie with a unique perspective of the BMW Motorrad brand and its customer.
Training Experience: In 2018, after taking a two day adventure course at the BMW US Rider Academy, Cassie was invited back to become a coach-in-training. There, she learned how to ride the R1200 GS, and has been chasing dirt ever since. She also learned a lot of great on-road skills as the Authority School was being developed while she was in training and she practiced on that course a lot. Cassie then learned more coaching styles and how to guide tours with West38Moto. From both of those schools and a number of fantastic mentors, she developed her own coaching style. Focusing on keeping riders safe while challenging their ability so they can experience personal breakthroughs with their riding. Being a smaller rider has taught Cassie how to ride without force and she coaches with those same principles, for any size rider.
GS Trophy Qualifier: Cassie competed in the GS Trophy Qualifier in 2021, making it to the finals. The rules have since changed and she is no longer allowed to compete because she is a professional coach. Now, her energy goes into coaching and guiding other riders to achieve their personal motorcycling goals, including competing in the GS Trophy Qualifier. She does go back to volunteer during the Qualifier every two years. Cassie also has experience building her own challenge courses for others to try.
As a Kid: Cassie grew up around motorcycles. Both of her parents ride BMW’s and she was introduced to the brand and the BMW MOA when she was young. It was only natural that she would align with the brand as well.
Solo Ride: Cassie rode her ‘92 K75s around the country in 2016, covering over 14,000 miles during her three and half month solo trip. From that experience she discovered that all she wanted to do was be around motorcycles, and she hasn’t looked back since. Because of that trip, Cassie has worked for the BMW Motorrad Demo Truck, BMW US Rider Academy, West38Moto, and now owns and operates CLEAR Moto. She also has partnerships with Mosko Moto and REV’IT!.
What’s Next: It is important to Cassie that she continue to push her own limits as a GS rider to stay connected to her passion and remain fresh with ideas for how to coach specific elements. Considering the problem, and working backwards on it until it is boiled down to its simplest parts so she can then teach it. She also tries to learn something completely new (non-motorcycle) from time to time so she can suck at something again. Putting herself back into the position of a novice so she never loses touch of what being new at something feels like. Connecting with her riders is vital to their success. Letting them know that she is a person too, and that learning is messy and it’s ok. Cassie will never settle for good enough and wants to always strive for better every time.
